Connect Ledger
If you're starting with a brand new Ledger device, first download Ledger Live and install the device before attempting to connect with Keplr. Instructions should be included with the device, and troubleshooting is provided by the Ledger team. Also, ensure your Ledger device firmware is up to date.
Ledger x Keplr Compatibility

Keplr supports Cosmos app chains, all EVM compatible chains including Ethereum, Injective and Evmos, Starknet, and Bitcoin. This article will guide you through connecting your Ledger device with Keplr for Cosmos, EVM, Starknet, and Bitcoin in order.
Install the necessary apps on your device using Ledger Live:
- Cosmos app for Cosmos-based app chains.
- Ethereum app for EVM-compatible chains.
- Starknet app for Starknet.
- Bitcoin app for Bitcoin.
Connect Ledger for Cosmos
After installing Keplr Mobile, tap [Connect Ledger] and read the instructions carefully.

Give a name to your wallet and tap [Next].
Turn on your Ledger device and connect it to Keplr Mobile via Bluetooth. Open the Cosmos app on your Ledger device, then tap [Connect].

Select the chains that you want to use and press [Save].
Connect to EVM-Compatible Chains
Select the chains that you want to use and hit [Save].

Open the Ethereum app on your Ledger device, then tap [Connect].
Connect to Starknet
Select the chains that you want to use and hit [Save].

Open the Starknet app on your Ledger device, then tap [Connect].
Connect to Bitcoin
Select the chains that you want to use and hit [Save].

Open the Bitcoin app on your Ledger device, then tap [Connect].
For Bitcoin, the Ledger apps for Bitcoin Mainnet and Bitcoin Testnet are separate. If you want to use both, you’ll need to open each app and complete the connection process once for each.
Now, the ledger connection for all four ecosystems are completed, and your Ledger account is successfully connected with Keplr.
