Staking Rewards Overview
When you stake, you earn rewards generated by the network. These rewards come mainly from:
- Block rewards and fees collected on the chain
- Inflation (newly minted tokens, depending on the chain’s design)
A few things to keep in mind:
- Validator commission: Each validator takes a percentage of the rewards as their operating fee before distributing the rest to delegators.
- Distribution: Rewards are automatically accumulated and can be claimed at any time.
Claiming Rewards on Keplr Dashboard
Open Keplr Dashboard. On the Home screen, click the light blue [Claim] button.
Here, you can see your total rewards across all chains you are staking on, as well as the rewards accumulated per chain.
You can choose to:
- Claim & Stake: Claim your rewards and immediately restake them to the validators you are already delegating to.
- Claim: Simply claim your rewards without restaking.
- Claim & Stake All or Claim All: Perform these actions across all chains at once.
If you choose not to restake, your claimed rewards will go directly into your wallet. You can view them in the Available Balance section of Keplr Dashboard or inside your Keplr Extension.
